How it works

How to start a training conversation.

Five steps from a first message to training that has actually been agreed. Sending the form does not reserve a lesson.

01

Contact the team.

Call +1 (320) 774-5897, email [email protected], or send the form. The form asks for your name, email, the dog's age and needs, a training focus, and a message. Consent is required.

02

Describe your training goals.

Say what you want the dog to do in ordinary life, and what is happening instead. Age, who handles the dog, and the hardest five minutes of the day are enough to start.

03

Discuss an appropriate approach.

If the request matches a service on this site, the conversation can name the skill, the setup, and what is outside the work. Some requests are a better fit for a veterinarian than for training.

04

Confirm the practical details.

Any fee, the place for a lesson, and what you will practice are confirmed before paid work. Home visits are not offered. There is no booking calendar on this website.

05

Begin agreed training, only when confirmed.

Training starts when a person confirms it. A received inquiry is not that confirmation. Until then, you have asked a question, not booked a lesson.

What this page is describing

A message starts the conversation. It does not choose a time or take payment. Training begins when a person confirms the details with you.

Home visits are not offered. Private training is one-to-one coaching, and the place for a lesson is agreed in writing. The business address is 3959 2nd St S, St. Cloud, MN 56301, USA.

What Stillfern does not arrange from this site

Group classes, board-and-train, service-dog certification, and online lessons are outside the service list. If the question is medical, start with a veterinarian. Any fee belongs in the written note described on the quote page.

A useful first message

Age of the dog, how long you have lived together, the hardest five minutes of the day, and what you have already tried. That is more useful than a long theory of the dog's personality.

Ask whether this fits.

Send the concrete version. A vague note is harder to answer honestly.
